BARCELONA

A big day also today in Valldaura! We collected environmental data attaching the Smart Citezens Kit to the drone and we visualized it using parametric software.
Despite all the technical issues we achieved to globally connect with Beijing, where Lei Yu gave an interesting lecture about robotic fabrication!

BEIJING
2nd review about clearly concept direction base on investigation results, give students a short brief about Design as research methodology. Amazing lecture giving by YU Lei, the most pioneer person in this advanced architecture area, about Robotic and Fabrication.

BEIRUT
Students continued developing on their group’s ideas, and presented their work to visiting lecturer Carole Moukheiber, who shared her input on embedding intelligence in urban objects. Presentations were followed by Moukheiber’s lecture on her work at University of Toronto and RAD (research laboratory at UT).

MOSCOW
Today we had incredibly inspiring lecture “New interfaces” by Luis Fraguada!

NEW YORK CITY
Prototyping and testing material intelligence. Data translation and design scenarios for the final “urban machine” are in progress.

TEHRAN
Data is translated into numbers and the real work begins!
