What’s happening in Beirut:
The third day of the GSS19 in Beirut started with a Grasshopper tooling session. The participants were introduced to creative thinking through parametric design and motivated to use different technics in order to produce complicated digital models. Later an online lecture took place by Elisabetta Carnevale, who holds a postgraduate degree in Earthen Architecture from CRAterre – ENSA Grenable. The topics touched during the lecture focused on how to build through the use of natural materials and the related possibilities in architectural design. The day closed with a prototyping session.
