BARCELONA
Today the GSS16 BCN team was in between the laboratories of robotic fabrication and the working sessions for the development of the final projects. During the afternoon a special Global Lecture of Edouard Cabey from Beirut! In the evening the students studied the evolving masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi, Sagrada Familia!

BEIJING
Lecture by Hyper-City Shiyang.

BEIRUT
Students began developing their model for fabrication using the sectioning method. They began to first test cutting OSB boards on the CNC router. The afternoon session included a broadcasted global lecture by Edouard Cabay from IAAC.

MOSCOW
Inspiring and incredibly informative discussion about innovative urban strategies with Vicente Guallart,former chief architect of Barcelona and IAAC founder.

NYC
Fabrication started today. We are preparing the inflatable surfaces and beginning the inflation test.

TEHRAN
Local lecture from Shadi Sajad about their project in Manhattan regarding seeing architectural design as a complete cycle and rather designing the ecosystem of a site. Students were introduced to task 2: they will be building a smart furniture that is responsive to the human pulse, as well as an interactive game system.
